Bernardo Equine Therapy offers a different perspective
from many other equine bodyworkers and massage therapists in the field today.
Each session is based on assessing the entire horse.
The goal of every visit is to figure out the SOURCE of his/her particular
patterns of restrictions and/or soreness and apply the correct techniques to release them.
Simply because a muscle is sore does not mean it needs to be released. Muscles can be sore and tight because of weakness. All the stretching and releasing in the world will not make it better. It may actually make it worse. Even if a horse is licking, yawning, and chewing during a session, it does not mean that the work is effectively treating the underlying problem. Therefore, I am always looking for answers to these and many other questions pertaining to your horse:
Whether your horse is a sport horse, trail horse extraordinaire, or a precious retiree, you want your friend to live their best life.
